The Pre-Swiss Youth IGF 2025 is a dynamic, in-person gathering of young people from across Switzerland to explore key issues shaping our digital future.
Building on the foundations of the 2023 Swiss Youth IGF, this edition continues the mission of empowering youth to reflect, connect, and speak out on major digital challenges — from AI and data privacy to inclusion and online rights.
The outcomes of the event will contribute to a Youth Message, which will be presented at the UN Internet Governance Forum (IGF) 2025, ensuring youth voices are part of global digital policy discussions.

Digital Sustainability Advocate
Eslem Demirel studied Climate Physics at ETH Zurich and is currently exploring the field of digital sustainability. She is actively involved in organizing public events, including an upcoming talk with Chelsea Manning at ETH Zurich, aimed at raising awareness around privacy, technology ethics, surveillance, and the power of Big Tech. Beyond her academic and advocacy work, she is passionate about music, reading, and painting.
IT & AI Lecturer
With a long-standing interest in digitalization, Livia has pursued studies in business informatics, founded an IT startup, and currently lectures on artificial intelligence. Her work is guided by the belief that, in a rapidly evolving digital world, staying informed and adaptive is essential. Livia's personal motto – “Life is great” – reflects a forward-looking and optimistic approach to both technology and life.
“In times of a rapidly evolving digitalization industry, it is of utmost importance to keep up with the pace.”
Founder & Digital Innovation Strategist
Mirela Dimofte is a digital leader, founder, and board member with over two decades of experience, including 12 years at Allianz. She is the founder of Home, an initiative aimed at redefining finance and insurance through artificial intelligence, and the co-founder of Mind Healing, a global platform supporting youth mental health. Her work focuses on driving human-centered innovation at the intersection of technology, finance, and well-being. She is a strong advocate for youth inclusion in tech policy and innovation, believing that “youth must have a voice in shaping our digital future. Building AI without them means designing a world that ignores the very people who will lead it.”
Mechanical Engineering Student & Digital Policy Advocate
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at ETH Zurich, Paloma is politically active with the Young Liberals, where she advocates for digitalization and innovation as key drivers of the future. With a deep interest in emerging technologies, she views artificial intelligence not only as a challenge but as a transformative opportunity.
“I joined Youth IGF because I want to help shape a digital future where technology empowers people – but for this, we also need to understand its challenges.”
