INVITATION TO THE LAUNCH OF THE FIRST YOUTH IGF EU

HOSTED BY THE MEP Cristian-Silviu BUSOI, ITRE COMMITTEE CHAIR

Born from the outcomes of the UN Internet Governance Forum 2023 Open Forum event co-organised by the EU Delegation to the IGF and the Youth IGF and the growing number of requests from the global Youth IGF community, the Youth IGF EU has been created by a group of young leaders. It aims to raise the awareness of the young in the EU countries on Internet Governance and helps to create the next generation of the EU digital leaders.

The Youth IGF EU main objective is to allow the voice of young people to be heard by Information Society leaders on issues related to Internet Governance and to help young people to take an active part in the decision-making processes in the EU countries.
